Daryl Clendenin is a caller, Accredited caller coach and square & round dance music producer. He has been a Club Caller for many clubs in the Portland, Oregon area, including Rivergate Stompers, Columbians, Bachelor & Bachelorettes and Swap & Swing in The Dalles. He spent 16 years putting the snowbirds (and some local folks) through their paces in Apache Junction and Mesa, Arizona and traveling internationally. He has held numerous positions at Callerlab, conducted many caller-seminars, hosted several world-tours and been featured at many State Festivals.
Daryl and Yvonne have been dancing since 1967. He has been calling since 1969 and she has cued since 2003. He is currently the caller for the Hillsboro Hoedown club in Aloha, Oregon. They consider square dancers their extended family and the activity is their life.

Tony took Square Dance lessons with the Checkerboard Squares of Portland in 2004 with Ed Craig. He is a member of that club and of the Tumbleweeds. He is currently Vice President of the Portland Area Council(PAC), PAC delegate to the Tualatin Valley Council (TVC), PAC Wagonmaster, PAC alternate delegate to Oregon Federation of Square & Round Dancers, Oregon Federation Publicity Recorder and he's working on completing the list. He is VERY involved in Square Dancing. He says "LOVE IT! Eric & Elysa did square dance lessons at River City Dancers in 2007 and from Oaky Doaks in 2008. Karen & Ken learned to square dance in 1997 at the W-A-W (Whirlaways) club in Eugene, Oregon, with Ivan Koehn doing the instructing. They tackled round dance lessons the very next year with Pat Hintz. They currently dance with the Whirlaways, ReVuNq in Salem and Rounds-R-Us in Rickreall.
